Reena, I like the book & switchblade the best. Very good composition--a mini landscape if you will, created by the residents and captured by you. The sign on the door with cracked paint opens your set with a strong bit of mystery, perhaps intrigue, with the blurry spring and other objects behind the door. The figure crying blood adds to the sense of weirdness and unease. The bright spot above the merman is distracting. I wonder whether you can't tame the highlights in the picture of the turtle and the chicks.
Reena. I love the close up work of your subjects. The one that really sticks out for me is the picture of the cellar door with the sign Beware of the Thing. Brings back many memories. I love the even lighting, sharp details and how you were able to maintain pure white lettering in that crazy, red lighting everywhere, it seemed.
The white balance on the Turtle and Baby carriage is very realistic. That's the way I remember it. Good job on the shadows from the overhead lighting. Nice contrast.
I wish the 2nd one with the devil-maid creature had a little more even lighting from underneath, but that is a skill one can learn in post processing. But I love the foto; it's surrounded by all of those weird little trinkets and framed very nicely because of them.
Finally, how you captured the lighting on the Edgar Allen Poe book is fantastic. One can definitely tell the main focus of this photograph. The enhanced lighting directed to the title draws the eyes of the viewer right to it! Nice job!
Reena, My favorites are the statue head crying blood tears. I like the background how its split against the brick and the wall. I also like the image with the turtles and buggy. I love the lighting. The only thing is maybe you could tone down the light in the glass case on the bottom.

I really like the colors in the 1st one and the Edgar Allen Poe one. I think you're really good at getting vibrant reds.
